Coda will produce clear, achievable and sustainable actions capable of bringing about meaningful change, and then seek to mobilise the entire global healthcare community to adopt these actions.
Each year a specific and urgent threat to global health will be identified and examined for action by our diverse and expert global team.
The teams will deliver a draft set of tangible, achievable actions for community consultation 3-4 months prior to the Coda event.
These draft actions will then be published via academic journals and disseminated for community wide comment, engagement and discussion via social platforms. Meaningful signals from this community feedback will then be provided to the expert panels for them to modify the original draft action plans with final actions presented as part of the annual Coda event for rapid adoption.
Coda will measure the impact of what we achieve together, and share progress towards our common goals at regular intervals – holding ourselves and our profession to account.
