What are the shared vulnerabilities in the health and financial sectors? According to a community attitudes survey, commissioned by CommBank and conducted by YouGov, almost 40% of the adult population have experienced or know someone who has experienced financial abuse. And in fact, after conducting analysis CommBank found that over a three month period, more than 8,000 CBA customers were identified as receiving potentially abusive messages in the transaction descriptions. CommBank is taking action. CBA’s General Manager of Community & Customer Vulnerability Catherine Fitzpatrick joins Roger Harris and Mary Freer for a fascinating discussion around domestic and financial abuse and what actions have been taken to combat the issue.

Would you like to be contacted by our presenting partner, Commonwealth Bank, regarding their offering for healthcare professionals? (for Australian participants only).
