We are working hard to make the Coda event as sustainable as possible, and will be seeking external advice on best practices. We realise that delegate and speaker travel will have a huge environmental impact, and there will be more information available on this soon.


Melbourne is committed to becoming one of the world’s most sustainable cities for business events with the goal to be carbon neutral by 2020. The city is a member of the Global Destination Sustainability Index – an initiative driving sustainable practices in events.

There are many innovative programs underway, focusing on improving the sustainability of the city and enhancing the delegate experience. The city’s sustainable practices include: transport services, infrastructure, green-city programs and environmental initiatives.
