Dear Health Care Professional,

We would like to invite you to participate in the COVID-19 CRITICAL CARE STAFF WELLBEING SURVEY. This is a survey to determine the baseline wellbeing for staff in the early phases of the COVID-19 pandemic and to record and research other factors of concern to staff working in a critical care setting in a hospital environment. We plan to repeat this survey in approximately 6 months’ time.

Ethics approval for a waiver of full ethics review has been received from Children’s Health Queensland, Human Research Ethics Committee, Australia. All data entered in to the survey platform will be non-identifiable. The survey is not expected to take more than 5 minutes to complete.

We are particularly targeting responses from ALL Medical, Nursing, and Allied Health staff working in critical care environments in a hospital (including educators, researchers, students redeployed to work in emergency departments, intensive care, high dependency units, anaesthetics and theatres) however we recognize the importance of other team members and will not exclude anyone.

Please share this survey link with your colleagues.

Thank you for your time

Naomi and Liz,
On behalf of the COVID-19 ICU Staff Wellbeing Investigators.

Please contact Naomi Hammond nhammond@georgeinstitute.org.au or Liz.Crowe@health.qld.gov.au if you have any concerns or require further information about this survey.
