Jason Bowman
Dr. Jason Bowman was a firefighter and critical care paramedic in Texas for 10 years before going to medical school and becoming an emergency medicine resident at the University of Kentucky. In 2009 he started a prehospital ultrasound program and began teaching this to other medics, eventually helping form the EMSPOCUS group. He also co-owned and ran a porcine cardiac arrest research laboratory for 7 years and was the PI of several rat cardiac arrest research pilot trials in the Texas A&M Department of Molecular Cardiology. His areas of interest are airway management, ultrasound education and translational cardiac arrest physiology research.
