In collaboration with Doctors for the Environment Australia – Healthcare organisations are increasingly committing to emissions reduction targets (ERTs), although the pathways to achieve such targets are generally not well developed. Healthcare workers themselves are increasingly frustrated by the uncertainty and lack of coordinated direction in relation to what actions to take.

This mini-congress will aim to address this lack of coordinated direction by presenting a series of projects (small to large) from around Australia, representing a range of stakeholder groups and identifying pathways at the “Micro, Meso and Macro” levels to inspire action.   Each presentation will be complemented by facilitated discussion led by renowned experts including Dr Nick Watts, Chief Sustainability Officer, NHS Greener Program (UK).
